Needles: #9 for cast on, #8 for bind off, #7 for body.
Modifications: Instead of the pattern directions of slip 1st st of each row; knit last st of each row, used a 2-st I-cord. CO 52sts (48 for pattern PLUS extra 4 sts for I-cord edging-2 sts each side). To bind off, knit first 2 and last 2 stitches together (this eliminates the gap).
2-STITCH I-Cord: K 1st 2 sts of each row; slip last 2 sts purlwise w/yarn in front on each row. This makes a beautiful. Size before blocking 6”x56”; size after blocking 75”x9”. Beautifuly soft yarn!
