Yess!I can start working on this beautiful wrap!!!
I am knitting it as a gift for my friend’s ‘maman de coeur“ which means I feel quite a bit of pressure to produce a perfect knit ;-)
There are a few techniques I never tried before (fair isle and steeking) so I think I will practice on scrap yarn before going ahead…

12 September :
swatched properly, i.e. knitted 13 full cm (and not just 10 rows…), washed and blocked it. I will need to go down to 3.5…
I read through the entire pattern and revised the steeking instructions (tutorial in an old Pompom quarterly). I also practised the colourwork with some scrap yarn. C’est pas gagné, as we say in French ;-)… But still, I will jump and give it a try!!!

9 December : it’s done :-)!!!
Only… it seems very very very small to me… like, a child-size…
Since I’m knitting this for a friend’s friend, who I never met, I cannot tell if it reasonnably suited.

21 December: yeepie! blocking did wonders !!! It is beautifull!!! I think it’s my most complex knit so far , I learnt an awful lot and feel up to the next challenge :-)!
