8/12/18 Starting again With the 4mm needle my gauge is spot on, but the fit just feels too loose. David’s head is 22.5” and mine is 24”. The unstretched circumference is 19.25” which feels just right on my head but not on David’s. Maybe we just like our hats tight

I’m going to do the adult small size, which is 8 repeats instead of 9. I think losing a couple of inches off the circumference will be a nicer fit on him.
