Love this pattern so much! I used a crochet hook to close off the grains. I made size 2 and modified the sleeves to a length I preferred and then switched from US 6 needle to US 3 needle to decrease from 62 stitches to 52 stitches in one knit round and then did the ribbing. I did a tubular Italian bind off for the sleeves and body hem.
I’m glad I did the mohair for the grains but if you do this then I REALLY recommend that crochet hook to make the closing of the grain go smoother. I chose a color that was similar but darker to enhance the grains.
