I knit size 48 for 10 inches of positive ease. I really wanted to go for a loose cropped look so that the beautiful Bell sleeves could really stand out and I made the length such that it just sit at my hips, which is 11 inches from the under arm of the size 48.

For the neck line icord I picked up three out of every four stitches to get the size opening that you see. When you block the sweater, recommend weaving a temporary string below icord neckline to keep it from stretching too much.

For the sleeves, because I went oversized on the body, I don’t need as much length to them. Pattern calls for 18” but I knit mine to 16” (knit 11” then began the increases for the remaining 5”)
