Vanilla Sock recipe

• Cast on 24st with Judy’s magic cast on (12 each needle)
• Alternate plain knit rounds with increase rounds (k1, m1r, k to last stitch, m1l, k1 on both needles, total of 4st increased) for the toe until desired number of stitches (64 for me, 32 each needle)
• Knit even until the heel line (detailed in the FLK pattern)
• Work the FLK heel
• Knit even for the leg until 1.5” shy of desired length (usually 5” or so for me)
• K2, P2 for 2x2 ribbing for the 1.5” cuff
• Bind of using Elizabeth Zimmermann’s sewn bind off
