Yippee!! Yarns C & E finally arrived!

Was a little concerned with how similar colors A & D are; but now that I’ve knit a little bit of both, I think I’m gonna like it. We’ll see.

Since it grew to over 1,100 stitches by the time I reached the last row, was curious how long the iCord bind off would take. After FIVE HOURS of knitting, I’m HALFWAY through the bind off! And I’m here thinking “WHY did I already buy yarn to make this again???” Yes, it’s lovely, but all those stretched stitches (chicken feet) about drove me crazy! Seriously, there’s got to be at least a couple hundred chicken feet!

If you need to work on your patience, this would be the pattern for you.

Yarn chicken fail. Luckily, I knew I’d used a very similar color in my Scrappy Lap Blanket, so searched my leftovers. Turned out it was the exact same yarn, and there was about 3 yards left!!! Lucky me!

So far I’ve spent 2 hours blocking. Ran out of space and blocking mats (see pics), so covered the unblocked portion with a wet towel; will block that part when the blocked portion dries.

I HATE BLOCKING!!! Would happily pay someone to do all my blocking!
