Peace Hill Farm’s 70% mohair 20% merino 10 % Nylon 3ply sock yarn for colour 1 (lost colourway label) and colour 4 (Purple Dressing Gown colourway)

Did the first row of cable stitches in section 3, but it just doesn’t make sense to me. Then I saw some Ravelers mention that in his video SW does the repeat in a different order. So when coming to the 2nd time we do a cable row, I tried that way too. But it just isn’t looking right for me, so I’m just knitting the should-be cabled stitches. It looks fine to me & is also much less fiddly!

Got tired of repeating the slip stitch patterns on the 2nd section of them. Long rows. Decided to stop short of that part, and abbreviate some others as well. Did single crochets for bind off instead of a knitted icord.

Shawl is about half the large size, I think. Will block now its done and then measure. As a process knitter I just wasn’t enjoying parts of it after a while, and I’m glad I made the decisions to cut back. It still looks fab and sits nicely on my shoulders to wear in front or in back as traditionally.
