This is going really well. I am now on the third ball of the lightest colour (1038). Because of the guage this has potential to go to the 1152 stitches rounds.
I am currently on row 60/96 at 576 stitches a round and have 3 balls to go….

I ended up doing the full 96 rounds. It is now at least as wide as my span and will block out larger. In a moment of madness I did a final increase to the 1152 stitches and started the border, it did not look right so I frogged back and am now half way round the border at 576 stitches.

If you are considering doing a Pi Shawl but are a bit nervous I recommend trying the storm cloud shawlette by Hanna Breetz as a starter project.

Finished!!! it came out at approx 80,640 stitches and is gorgeous. I am so happy. I am blocking it right now. Can’t wait!!!
