• Day 2 : Favorite Flower Colors - All colors, but particularly those that resemble wildflowers. (Malabrigo in Diana - 4g & Regia Hand-Dye Effect - 3g)

• Day 3: Favorite Soup - Homemade Tomato (Knit Picks Stroll in Red Barn - 7g)

• Day 4: Pick a square from the the Ron Weasley blanket - (Frabjous Fibers in Little Bat - 1g, Knit Picks Stroll Glimmer in White - 2g & Trekking in Hand-dyed - 3g)

• Day 5: Choose a # between 1 & 8 then use the corresponding hue from Crayola to determine your ink color - My hue was red (Dream in Color Smooshy in the Club Colorway - 6g)

• Day 6: Use a color to represent the book you’re currently reading - I’m reading Bite Me by Christopher Moore so I striped some punky colors to represent the main character. (Frabjous Fibers in Little Bat - 4g, Conjoined Creations Flat Feet - 2g)

• Day 7: Which Hogwarts Professor are you - I got Professor Slughorn so I chose a deep, rich Slytherin green. (Regia Hand-Dye Effect - 4g)

• Day 8: Listen to a favorite station and use the color that comes to mind with the first song you hear - Song: Fever for the Flava by Hot Action Cops. (Sun Valley Fibers in Fathom - 3g, Hedgehog Fibres in Budgie - 3g)

• Day 9: Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes (your loudest and brightest yarn) - This yarn has 2 distinct bright colors that go very well together and are plied. This made me think of the twins and the candy colors seemed very appropriate. (Sausalito in Borealis - 6g)

And here is where I broke every single one of my wooden DPNs (some of them twice) while I was getting the kiddo out of the car.

• Day 10: Who is your favorite student? - Since Gilderoy Lockhart had to go back and re-learn a few things after the Chamber of Secrets incident (and he’s my favorite) I’m counting him as my favorite student. I’ve striped a color to represent his golden locks with colors that came to mind when I thought about his robes from the books: Sapphire, Lilac, Turquoise, and the Lurid Pink from Valentines’ Day. (Regia in Yellow - 3g, Sun Valley Fibers in Fathom - 1g, Red Heart Sock in Purples/Greys - 1g, Hedgehog in Budgie - 1g, Conjoined Creations - 1g)

At this point I’ve added in the Heel Flap and Turn on Sock B. (Regia in Yellow - 4g)

• Day 11: Which type of Owl do you prefer? Scops Owl - Brown Owl on a Green Shelf. (Regia Hand-Dye Effect -2g, Trekking in Hand-dye - 2g)

• Day 12: Help clean out the Order of the Phoenix’s headquarters by breaking out your oldest & dustiest scraps: I’m using the leftovers from my first socks - January Socks. (Regia Bamboo Color - 4g)

• Day 13: Portuguese Long Snout = Dark Blue. (Sun Valley Fibers in Fathom - 3g)

• Day 14: No-Melt Ice Cream: I was supposed to use white, but since I’m out of white scraps I used a yarn that reminded me of my favorite ice cream flavor: Superman. (Regia Socken-monster in Flusi - 3g)

• Day 15: My wand - Alder, Dragon heartstring, 12 ½“, Brittle = Red w/Blue. (Knit Picks Stroll in Red Barn - 2g & My First Regia in Marco - 2g)

• Day 16: Google Ball Gowns to find one that speaks to you - I found a neon pink one with vertical stripes of black in the full taffeta skirt. (Frabjous Fibers in Little Bat - 2g & Conjoined Creations Flat Feet - 3g)

• Day 17: Knit the colorwork chart to match your favorite teacup. (Regia Socken-monster in Flusi - 3g & Baah! in Pearl - 4g)

• Day 18: I have well over 50kg of sock yarn so a Gold Galleon it is! (Regia in Yellow - 2g)
