I LOVE how this turned out! This was my first time using a steek and I almost cried when I cut the fabric, but it all worked out fine. I used a sewing machine to reinforce the edges before cutting.

Sewing the fabric to the back nearly killed me. The top and bottom of the knit piece were much stretchier than the rest, so it stopped being a square and became some weird bendy shape that looked terrible. After many hours of cursing and poking myself with needles, I finally got it back into shape.
