2/12/17 I’ve finished both wings and am ready to pick up stitches for the edging. However, I’m surprised (and not pleased) with how much yarn I have left. I have over 25 gm left of each of the stripe colors and about 60 gm of the orange. I’m worried the shawl isn’t going to be anywhere near as large as I’d like it to be.

2/10/17 Working on the second wing. It’s not looking as big as I’d thought it would. I’m thinking about adding a larger border than the pattern calls for, but I’m not sure yet.

2/3/17 Making slow but steady progress on this. The Turkish cast on was a little fiddly, but seems to have worked out fine. I love the graphic feel of the design. The yarn is soft and squishy and I think it’s going to be wonderful for cuddling up in when it’s done.
