10/4 #2 Cast off the cuff for the second mitt! Just have to do thumb #2 and ends weaving, then will be done!

10/4/15 Finished the first one up and started the second last night. This yarn is a little tricky to work with--it’s a little hairy and a little splitty--but despite all that I really like it. The cables show up like a nice soft ripple and the color has a lot of depth to it. There are strands of turquoise and white running through it and it has a slightly heathered look. (Now that I look, the color is “navy heather” so that’s not very surprising!)

The pattern is very precise, which I LOVE. Things look so much more finished and professional when all the details are planned out so carefully.

10/3/15 Just cast off the first mitt. I still need to do the thumb and weave in the ends. It’s awesome!
