Gauge:

• Crochet: 3 pattern repeats = 4.25”, 9.75 rows = 4”
• Knit: 30 sts x 36 rows = 4” in stockinette

The crochet portion of the sweater lengthened after washing but the knit sleeves did not.

My gauge was smaller than the pattern’s. I followed the stitch counts for the smallest size for a 39.5” bust instead of a 44” bust.

I made the cardigan 19” long instead of 23” long.

I knit the sleeves instead of crocheting them. I worked a round of SC around the armholes then picked up the stitches and knit the sleeves top-down in-the-round.

I seamed the shoulders and side seams using SC.

Sleeves:

• Work 69 SC around armhole
• Pick up 69 sts, increase to 90 sts on next round
• Work even for 3” (28 rnds)
• Decrease every 7th rnd x7 - 76 sts, 71 rnds
• Decrease every 6th rnd x8 - 60 sts, 119 rnds, 13.25” long
• Work even for 0.75” - 126 rnds, 14” long
• Rib for 4”
