Test knitting this hat. Now need to decide on colors…Malabrigo…of course. :-)

Success!! Ronan likes it and Seamus wants one. This was my first time doing a garter stitch horizontal graft. Once I got the hang of it, it started to look ok. It’s a little sloppy in a few spots but I’m ok with it. The next one will be better.

This hat was super fast and easy to make. I love the construction with short row shaping. Don’t have to do decreases and knits up flat. Definitely a good gift knitting hat as you can knit this baby up in one evening. I also like all the different size options…makes this a very versatile pattern.
