This shawl was converted into a rectangle design to use as a wrap, instead of a triangular shawl by KnicoleKnits, and I am knitting this as part of a KAL.

I wasn’t sure about the colors chosen (as seen in the swatch), especially the lavender. After further consideration, I decided to try a gold color and I am glad I did — I really like the richness of these colors together.

Swatch used US size 3 needles, which gave a too-small gauge, so I cast on 402 stitches with size 4 US (gauge isn’t critical for this project, but I just felt better about it) and am working the diamond portion of the wrap.

Done and done. I think this will come in handy in the fall..
