Notes

Point of note: I have figured that the M needs a just under 300 thrums. I did not have enough so I had to tink back a little and separate some of the larger ones. Now I have things all divided up for each section so the size of the thrums stays consistent across the slippers. (I didn’t rip the whole slipper so the sole and first thrummed round of it will have larger thrums.)

Knitting is all done! I got some pink PlatiDip to do the bottoms so these slippers can last longer. I’ll have to figure out the logistics of that one. And get some buttons.

Since the yarn is 100% wool, I wanted to do something to keep the bottoms from wearing out. The paint-on PlastiDip I did for my Christmas slippers last year seems to be working well for everyone, but I didn’t want black bottoms on the bunnies. So I found a pink spray to try. The pink isn’t a great match, but I think it will look cuter and more fun than black. Fingers crossed.

Added buttons and whatnot. All is done! They are pretty cute, but they are so soft and squishy that I’m worried they are going to die a pretty quick death, even with the PlastiDip bottoms.

Point of note: I much prefer the paint on PlastiDip vs the spray. The spray can fumes are much worse and last loads longer. Also, with paint on it is easier to get a thinner layer down evenly it seems. Or maybe I just spray paint poorly. Or maybe the spray soaks in more than the paint on so it feels stiffer.
