Notes

This is my first Summer of Basics Make Along project.
The yarn is from Echelon that I unraveled because it was not flattering and I couldn’t figure out how to wear it.
I was looking for something practical and easy to make without too many adjustments. My gauge was different so I used size L to get my size. I didn’t make the sleeves in the round, but seamed them instead. Also I made only 7 decreases for sleeves and at the end added 4 stitches in the first row of ribbing.
Neckband and sleeves finished with sewn on bind off.
I had some misgivings about the garment’s fit because according to the pattern the back and front are knit the same. Yet, I didn’t have time and/or energy to recalculate anything so I just followed instructions. Cannot say that I was disappointed. This sweater is warm, fits well, goes with anything, and the lace pattern looks beautiful in black.
Highly recommend!
