This is the pattern that we use in our Knitting Level 3: Toe-up Socks on Magic Loop class! We suggest using a light or bright colour if you are making them for the class so that you can easily see your stitches.

Our sample used just a bit more than one skein of Berroco Vintage Chunky in Sapphire. If you want to make taller socks or a larger size, you will have lots of yarn to accommodate those changes.
