Searched online for crochet rainbow baskets to see if other people had done it and how, and found a photo of the Rainbow Storage Basket pattern by Cintia Gonzalez (My Poppet). I immediately fell in love with it and started making them.

I’m on my third one now. Each one is the same in that the order of my colors is the same (P-ROYGBV), but each is different depending on the scraps I use. I do now really wish I’d followed her color order instead I think it’s more visually appealing.

Getting through my yarn scraps brings me SO much joy.

I used the concepts from all my previous baskets (first project here). As always, I held 4 strands together as one.

I’m not in love with any method I tried for changing color while working in the round. I may try Brookie’s method next which, if I remember right, is to join with a tight slst and chain one tightly.
