#11 got 3.5 sts per inch unblocked; fabric looks pretty loose, but some of that could be due to thick/thin variation. Blocked gauge: still 3.5 sts per inch, but still seems a bit loose…I may still go with it though since you can’t really see Finnegan’s fur through it or anything.

Finnegan’s waist is about 18 in., but he could go up to 19 in. due to his fluffy coat.

Changes to pattern:
in the hood the line “place markers used are the same as placed in the neck section” didn’t make any sense to me so I ignored it

in the hood I repeated rows 1 and 2 seven times instead of six

to pick up sts for the leg I started at the chest/armpit corner and had 12 sts in BO row, 8 sts in CO row, and 7 sts on each side
