I followed the basic pattern for Classic mittens with these modifications…
Cast on 48 st. With pink. K 7 rounds.
K2tog, YO around
K 1 round in pink
Switch to gray and K 6 rows.
Started colorwork slip stitches according to Parallel Lines pattern.
After color pattern, K 4 rows then follow the remainder of Classic Mittens pattern beginning at Thumb Gusset.
K 34 round after thumb opening and began decreases per pattern.
