09.21.15—Really enjoying these socks so far, looking forward to reaching the heel. This is my first time trying the Fish Lips Kiss Heel.

10.08.15—Fish Lips Kiss Heel went really well. Effed it up a little bit (ended up with three extra stitches on the first sock, and one extra on the second) but I decreased to 64 stitches on each sock.

By 3/4 up the ankle I was SO DONE with the interrupted seed stitch and phased it out in a random-ish way. I had a couple of rows of mistakes, but frogging when doing two at a time is an enormous pain. About an inch of ribbing at the top, and JSSBO to finish.

Not a crazy fan of this yarn. We’ll see how it wears, but while knitting it, little pills form and by the end, the skeins were so tangled I had to cut it to rewind it. Hoping the other colors aren’t so obnoxious.

Pretty pleased with the socks. Waiting for my Eucalan to arrive so I can block them, but I think they look fabulous and I can’t wait to wear them.
