4.5 mm needles for both body and ribbing. I didn’t change to a smaller needle size for the ribbing because I wanted it to hang more straight, as with the Champagne Cardigan
Made row gauge, but my stitch gauge is big (18.5 sts rather than 21 sts over 4 inches). Going to go with the M size
Knitted body about 1/2 inch longer than pattern and knitted body ribbing about 1 inch less. Tubular Italian bindoff for hem, non-tubular Italian bindoff for sleeves. Next time would do a non-tubular Italian bindoff for the hem too bc I don’t really like the firmness of the tubular bindoff
SSK rather than K2togtbl for left-leaning sleeve decreases (the latter looked too bulky)
Made sleeves shorter and decreased more rapidly (decreases at rounds 8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 54, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90). Not ideal but ok. Knitted 14 rounds of ribbing immediately after the 90th round. Next time knit a plain round after the final decrease before starting ribbing bc first round of ribbing slightly distorted
Followed instructions of Champagne Cardigan for the placket. 3 mm needle for picking up stitches and knitting the placket. 8 rows for buttonholes rather than 10. I kept my tension on the loose side knitting the placket so it wouldn’t pull up
I found this video very helpful for understanding how to begin the placket. After the first couple of fiddly rows, it’s quite easy but takes a verrrrry long time

Ended up having to use bigger 25 mm plastic shank buttons after my original 23 mm mother-of-pearl shank buttons broke. The smaller 8-row buttonholes work well with the bigger buttons
