A solo and Sunny traveller because I have no choice.

The yarn was the last gift my husband gave me. Every stitch has been part pleasure, part sorrow. But I love the finished project. I love it for its delicacy and for its simplicity and for the hours spent making it. Thank you Martina Behm for just the right kind of knitting for very tough times.

I am not going to lie. I cried for a while when it was done. I cried for what was. I cried for missing him. I cried because there are times when that is all there is. I never planned on being a solo traveler, but if that is what life has sent my way, then I will take the small pleasure I can find. I love this shawl.
