I finally did something I’ve been promising to do for ages. I cast on for a dress for Hitty Marjorie Jean. This is her first clothing that wasn’t borrowed from someone else. I can’t believe it’s taken me two years to finally make her something that fits.

I combined the two cap sleeved dress patterns, the tiny bodice knitted on #1 needles instead of #0s and then the extra skirt increases from the larger pattern on #2 needles. I had to make it longer too. Hopefully now that I have a successful pattern for her it won’t take as long to make dress #2.
