The “rules”:

Let’s get our dolls ready for the chilly season. This along is open to any dolls that correspond in size to dolls produced by American Girl: 18”, 16”, 14”, 9”, and 6” child/girl dolls and 15” and 8” babies. Let me know if I’ve left out someone.

We will be putting together a capsule wardrobe for the doll of our choice. I’m suggesting between six to thirteen garments. This can be mix and match or not. You might want to add accessories like hats and scarves too. Just like most of us IRL feel free to add to garments already in your doll’s possession to fill out your wardrobe. Let’s aim for at least half newly made things. Any craft that results in a garment or accessory works.

I finally got the yarns out to start the granny square vest yesterday after breakfast and I burned my fingers. It was really painful and I was afraid it was going to take a long time to heal. After lots of colloidal silver and aloe vera I was feeling better by dinner time. I got started on the vest. I wound up staying up way past my normal time to finish the body. I got up this morning and edged it and wove in the many ends.

I didn’t realize until I was nearly finished that it’s going to reverse for a totally different look.
