A few thoughts on the yarn:

• It’s very soft- which is right on the money for a kids’ -sweater, but it’s splitty as all get out. Go for blunt needles if you use this yarn. (I’ve had great success with the Lykke Driftwood needles.)

• we have incredibly hard water, which is unforgiving to yarns where the color hasn’t been aggressively set. When we blocked it, there was quite a lot of dye discharged into the water. I’ll do a citric acid soak before i let Genevieve run off with it, because, why not.
