Things that aren’t yarn/needles:

This was a (relatively) quick knit; the charts have good rhythm, worsted weight means a finished sweater that is manageable in 3 weeks of life with kids and falling asleep with them most nights.

It’s easy to go on autopilot with this pattern- I kept blasting past the decrease rounds on the sleeves and having to tink back. But, to be fair, I was watching Us, which is a fantastic horror movie (if you like that kind of thing).

I knit most of the body in the dark at Sunnyvale Community Players’ production of “Jekyll & Hyde”, South Bay Musical Theater’s “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder”, and the new Downton Abbey movie.

The tubular bind-off on the sleeves and cuffs is a beautiful touch- if I knit it again, I’ll do a tubular cast on as well. I’m debating doing the edgings in the CC, because I’m VERY into that at the moment.
