I’m a little obsessed with granny squares, but i like modernized versions. the pattern i based this on is gorgeous, especially with the Madeline Tosh yarn. i just wanted to use up some old gorgeous yarn: wool and silk, hand-dyeds, a little Madeline Tosh, even angora! this turned out really well, and it’s amazingly soft. i like really long scarves, so this one is a chain 302, making it about 92” long.
