I truly don’t think I’ve ever cast on a project as quickly as I did this blanket! I rarely am drawn so strongly to blanket projects, but something about the shape of the motifs and the possibilities with hand dyed yarn spoke to me.

I am using all scraps and random mini skeins for this project, and after 4 blocks, I’m absolutely smitten.

Finished all 24 blocks and blocking. I have chosen two yarns for the joining rounds, a berry speckle and a rainbow speckle held together. I will wait until this section is done to decide on final border color.

Finished Border with Joining Color, and will start Final Border today.

Decided against the final bobble border, so I just did the chain stitches without bobbles. I will block tomorrow and put better pics up!
