I wanted to make it a tad smaller for a smaller baby-but turns out my gauge is off so it is going to be for a bigger one after all-thank goodness I casted on smaller! AND I used 3.5 mm needles too! My yarn is dk(ish) so idk what happened…going well, although this isn’t the most perfect pattern (may be tough for a beginner), it’s working! :)

I also used german short rows-like how they ended up…

Hmm..after taking some more measurements and working on the legs-I think this will be nice for a 3-6 months size…I added a few decreases though-I did 4 (two on either side) before starting the legs-did NOT increase for the crotch and then did three rows of four decreases each again during the legs…..I am also doing my striping different-to minimize end weaving. I did 2 rows of each color alternating two colors so as not to have to cut the yarn…I know, I know…sneaky! ;) I’m quite pleased with the outcome too!
