Using up some odds and ends to knit this. The Navia is listed as ‘bulky’, but I really don’t think it’s as thick as that - much more aran, even worsted, weight.

The Prado de Lana ‘Vermont Marble’ is absolutely beautiful, from the fleeces of Hazel and Felicity, plus another PdeL skein of the same in cream (have lost the label). I bought them at Edinburgh Yarn Festival last year (2018) and, as EYF 2019 is almost here, I thought I’d better get knitting!

Some time later… phew, this is a beast of a yarn-eating shawl! I’ve had to be inventive here and there as I’ve run out of certain yarns. A little bit of JC Rennie doubled up… a tiny bit of my precious Daughter of a Shepherd Brume doubled with some Garthenor laceweight… luckily, none of this bodging is particularly apparent (i haven’t listed these as I’ve used such small amounts)

24.2: the finished shawl has called out ‘tassels’ to me, and so I’ve made 3 for the first time in my life and they don’t look too bad!
