Pattern: luckily, the errata for this pattern are well-documented, which is fortunate as there are quite a lot of them! It’s actually a very easy and intuitive pattern, and you end up with an interesting asymmetric shape and an unusual alignment of stripes. Also a very fast and compulsive knit!

I spliced all the stripe changes, so there were only 2 ends to weave in. When you complete/cast off the shawl, it’s best to run the yarn through the final few sts a couple of times, then tighten firmly and weave in (otherwise you get left with a little notch… ask me how I know).

Blocking: I’ve blocked it quite easily to the specified measurements. It’s a slightly odd shape; think, sort of asymmetric semicircle.

Yarn: I love it! very light and airy with a rustic hard-wearing feel to it. Lovely dyeing as usual from Victoria, in a couple of her repeatable colourways ♥ ♥ ♥
