Finished and it is huge. I was worried that using only one skein of Kauni would make the shawl too small. Not going to be a problem. Can’t wait to wear this!

4/19/11: DONE! Can’t believe the never-ending Pi is finally ended. Just need to block it and get some photos. Figured out there are 12,096 stitches in the knit-on border. Piece of cake. Or not.

2/11/11: Working on the knit-on border using Kid Silk Haze. It may take me the rest of my life.

1/21/11: Decided to do the concentric circles rather than the super fancy one. Will probably try that one eventually but I want to try to finish this shawl in the 4 weeks of class and the definitely won’t happen if I do the harder one.

1/12/11: Started this in class tonight with Edie and Colleen. Edie and I are using the same yarn but different size needles; be interesting to see how they both turn out. I’m still trying to decide whether to make the super fancy design (on the book’s cover) or the one that’s a bit easier.
