This is my second Fae Wing shawl. I find it very wearable. The lace pattern is easy to memorise which makes it quick to knit up. These two factors make it a great ‘gift knit’. I didn’t worry about achieving gauge.

This yarn is slightly thicker than in my first version of the shawl, but I stuck to the same number of repeats: 12 repeats each of the garter and lace sections. I didn’t track the chevron sections, but instead knit until I ended with a dark section of the yarn.

The shawl is finished with a knit two through the back loop castoff.
