01/13 - After several false starts, I am on the second sleeve now and it is an interesting knit, I have to admit. Thanks to Maria, the designer, and bethhunt who’ve been so helpful to me so far. I have a ways to go but I think I am now on the right path.

2/27 - Finished! The more I got to the end, the more I appreciated this beautifully designed sweater. I like the fact that I can have two kinds of necklines, too. I originally had a “curly” neck edge, so I bound off with needles one size larger, then steam blocked the edge to lay flat. Perfect!

I enjoyed working with this yarn, and the color is so feminine. This wool kept me warm without being bulky. Who wants to cover up this sweater with a jacket anyway?

A year later, I’ve changed my mind about this yarn. It pills easily and worse, it felts easily too. The underarm parts of this sweater is felting already. Oh well.
