This pattern works up very fast. I’ve been at it for about 3 hours and the body is 3/4 done. I will need another skein of Peacock though, even though I work tight. It also comes out on the small side and pretty stiff - probably because of my work, but something to remember. Next time use larger hook!

Frogged!

Started over with a bigger hook (11.5 mm) and it looks much better. Feels softer, too! But this means more yarn, too.
Also decided to change the eyes for a 3D look and add some fire to the nostrils.

Finished!

11.5 mm hook for body
9.00 mm hook for nostrils and eyelids
6.0 mm hook for teeth (double stranded)
3.5 mm hook for eyes and inner nostrils

Scrap yarn gold, red, and black for accents (eyes + nose)
