I don’t know, even with many projects on the needles, I just had to start something else - maybe it was gazing into and plowing through my stash that got me going, because I pulled out a number of yarn options that have been marinating for around 10 years, plus some leftovers that have been around that long, and they need a destiny. And I need a semi-mindless project for social knitting and other non-thinking settings.

Having passed the halfway point of the 4x4 rib on the collar, I’m fairly certain my collar color choices will not last to complete it, never mind the sleeve cuffs and the bottom edge.

Also, my yarn choices seem much bouncier than something combined with the Melted Baby Suri idea, so I’m not getting drape the way I imagined. The collar may require severe blocking to give the intended measurements.

(Because who swatches and washes it, when you’re just ribbing and gartering on size 8’s????)
