Notes

Two days of knitting to produce two hats! I love this pattern, and the possibilities for stitch patterns and colorwork. The yarn is just the right weight for a warm hat that’s not too heavy when worn.

I modified the decreases again as I made the body of the hat long (8” before decreasing), so on some of the final crown rounds, I decreased every row instead of every other row.

A note based on a question I received. I used a provisional cast on with cotton waste yarn to make it easy to begin the 2nd hat. I intentionally knitting the red portion of the hat longer so that some of it’s color would show when tucked inside the brown.
