Notes

11/27/08: Angela of True Love Fiber recently put in a request for hat donations for a local hospital’s chemotherapy patients. I used this yarn because I had it on hand. I know a lot of people aren’t fans of acrylic, but I like that this is soft, washable, and dryable… which makes it good for charity knitting.

I’ve never done a hat before, so I thought I’d try something that looked simple. And it was! This hat took me just a smidge over 3.5 hours, and that’s including weaving in the ends.

Today is Thanksgiving, so it seemed especially appropriate to do this today. I tried to think positive thoughts of hope, healing, and gratitude while I was knitting it. I hope whoever receives this hat likes it and that it gives them some comfort.
