It’s been slow going because the weights of the yarns are very different and the yarn switches every row or two, so I’m carrying it up the side. They get tangled and it’s annoying. It’s tedious to work on and I wasn’t sure I’d even like it. But when I got to about 50 rows, I realized that I like it a lot. So now, I want it done, but it’s so hard to work on!

It’s a 100 row shawl and I just finished row 69 last night. I may finish this thing before it’s 4th birthday.

Nope, did not finish before it’s 4th birthday, but I cast-off tonight! Nothing left but to add some fringes.

Notes:
Pattern called for 3 medium weight yarns, but I used 3 fingerings weight yarns, a bulky, and a super bulky because I wanted to use the “Rabbit” yarn on this project and didn’t want to buy yarn to pair with it, had lots of Palette, so gave it a try. It created a unique texture.
Didn’t like working the wrapped rows, so altered the pattern to do them every 10, instead of every 5.
Could not follow the pattern’s color chart because I had 5 yarns, not 3. Made my own using Excel, but changed it up a lot as I worked.
