Beautiful, chunky and slouchy cardigan knit entirely in garter stitch with just a cable braid going down each sleeve.
Looks best using 9 mm needles.
Gauge: 11 stcs and 16 rows per 4 inches in stockinette on 9 mm needles
Added a braid cable on the sleeves and knit them in the round.
For sleeves, CO 20 instead of 24 and then only do two rows of increases so sleeves have a total of 32 stcs.
Instead of doing front and back panels I cast on the entire body at once (106 stcs) and then separated into three sections to make sleeve holes. Connected front and back panels using kitchener stitch.
Care Instructions
Machine wash 20°C on wool setting, dry flat, do not tumble dry, do not bleach, do not iron

Added a crochet rib edge to the collar to help the cardigan hold its shape over time. Looks fantastic and works as expected
Now considering shortening the sleeves as they have stretched a bit over time.
21-12-2022 Update
Shortened the stretched out sleeves for a better fit:
Picked up a round of stitches at the place where i wanted the new sleeve cuff to start, then frogged everything above that and finally reknit the cuffs.
