Cast on 20x4+11
I’m substituting k,yo,k for the m1R, k, m1L sequence. The yo’s create small holes and the fabric is a little looser than with the lifted increases. I just couldn’t stand doing that many lifted increases. This way the knitting is flowing much better, and it looks nice so far.

The single lifted increase near beginning and end of each RS row then becomes a yo.

I tried a 3-stitch i-cord edging, but with this stockinette, it made the edge too tight. So I’m starting over!

I started with yarn left over from Broderie, less than one skein of each colorway, and that combo isn’t looking as nice in this stitch pattern, so I’m mixing up the colorways.
