Notes

Pattern gauge 3.5 KNIT stitches per inch. Wonderful pattern but oh man the gauge (measuring knit stitches only) threw me off.

This turned out way too small for the baby recipient. Not quite sure what went wrong: whether I knit too small a size, messed up reading the pattern, or the baby’s head is larger than I thought! The only head this hat fits is the cute stuffed octopus modeling it in these photos.
