Just waiting for the pattern! All swatched and ready to go…

I made a size 2, straight body, with the short row option at the hem.

I used 4.5mm for gauge, and 4mm for the ribbing.
For the neck cast on I used Anke’s invisible cast on. It has almost the look of the Italian cast on, but it’s fast and I was being lazy.

For the bind offs I just used a regular bind off in pattern. I didn’t want to have to unpick a sewn bind off if I needed to lengthen/shorten the body or sleeves, and the yarn is fluffy and not easy to take out.

The only mod I made was to add some length to the sleeves. I added approx 1” before starting the purl columns, and needed to add a few more rounds to the ribbing at the end.

Finished weight, 285g, 798m
I’m surprised how little yarn I used, but it might’ve been due to using a larger needle size.

Measurements before blocking:
Bust, 39”
Length (from top of shoulder next to neck, to front hem), 23”
Inside sleeve, 18”

Measurements after blocking:
Bust, 39”

It stayed exactly the same size, yay, it fits perfectly, with 4” of positive ease.
I didn’t stretch it at all when I blocked it, I just laid it out and only pinned the neck and shoulders.

New favourite pattern, I already know I’ll be making #2 sometime…maybe sooner than later!

Photos of it on are the closest to RL. It was really hard to photograph accurately, and had more of a blueish tint in some lights.
