An artist friend gave me these skeins which she had purchased for color inspiration, so I decided to knit a lap blanket for her studio as a holiday gift.

Working at an entirely different yarn and gauge and fewer colors so i’ve made many mods.

Started with single stitch cast on.

Not planning to do tassels.

I’ve five 100 gm skeins so am working increase sections with colors one and two (Chicory and Cousteau), even sections with color threeBig Sur), and decrease sections with colors four and five (Jade and Dachshund).

Very pleased with the way this turned out, and will use this method again for multi-colored blankets.
