Pretty little pattern. I modded it to work in the round, of course. :)

CO 44, work garter band, then increase:
(k4, m1, k1) 8 times, k4

Knit in pattern till it’s long enough (I needed more length than the pattern), then knit a plain round for the decreases:
(k4, k2tog) 8 times, k4

Then another plain round, then weave together.

Neck strap is a 6-stitch garter band.
