Doing the sleeves on the machine and the body by hand.
Sleeves:
Stitch dials set to 12, auto tension disks set to 11. Tubular cast on (waste yarn/ravel cord method).
Shoulder shaping: dec’d 6 each row for 6 rows, then dec 4 for 2 rows.

Started doing the body, and decided to knit it in the 3-4 size because the kid it’s going on is big for his age. It’s coming out large (I should have measured him) but I’d rather he grow into it than have it start too small.
I modified the pattern to do the body in the round. CO 164 stitches, working in the round for 7.75” before I divide the front and back for the arm holes.

Worked the front and back as written after dividing for the arm holes. Knit the neckband in the round, picking up two additional stitches from the back in order to get a number that was divisible by 4 for the 2x2 rib.
Decided to do the sleeves by hand after all.

Knitting the sleeves two-at-a-time in the round on magic loop. CO 44 stitches for each sleeve (had to add two so the rib would line up) and then skipped the increase in the last row of ribbing. Will increase as written until 62 stitches (rather than the 63 specified in the pattern).

Done! Still needs blocking, but overall really happy with how it came out. Had a very small amount of yarn left. Wasn’t quite playing yarn chicken, but only have about 10 grams leftover.
