I love this pattern! This is my second Twilly Hat. This one came out as the designer, Jennifer Weissman intended. I made it slouchy just like the first one. Please see my instructions for this slight modification here.

The color of this yarn looks black (with light flecks) in the photos, but it’s actually a very dark navy blue. It was probably not the best yarn choice for this pattern because the twill stitch doesn’t show up very well. Nevertheless, it’s a very cute hat and super warm with the double thick band. This yarn is very drapy, so perfect for a slouchy hat.

The pullover I’m wearing is my “Climb Every Mountain” designed by Heidi Kirrmaier. I knitted it over 10 years ago, and it’s still a favorite. I modified it slighly with the bishop sleeves.
